Welcome to Luna Birth Services Founded by Louise Lotty

I'm Louise, mum to three little ones as well as a Certified Childbirth Educator, Hypnobirthing Instructor and Postpartum Doula based in Cork, Ireland. I am here to help you to transform how you feel about birth - from nervous and worried, to calm, confident and ready. 

As a hypnobirthing instructor and postpartum care specialist and doula, I am passionate in supporting you to become empowered and self advocate during pregnancy, labour and into the postpartum period.

I will listen to you and support you to overcome any fears or doubts you may have around birth and life with a newborn. I will share birth education and techniques with you which ensure you really understand the birth process, what to expect, and how to optimise both your mind, body and environment for your baby's birth, regardless of the type of birth you are planning.

I will support you and your birth partner to feel fully prepared, informed, supported, calm and confident as you approach your baby’s birth. My hypnobirthing classes are available in person in Cork in Soul Yoga Cork, in your home or online on Zoom.

I used the positive benefits of hypnobirthing throughout all of my pregnancies and labours. I had three very different labours but hypnobirthing was key in supporting me to maintain my focus and confidence in each experience. 

I am also a qualified volunteer breastfeeding counsellor with Cuidiú, an Irish parent to parent voluntary support charity. 

In 2025, I was proud to be nominated for Business of the Year in The Family Edit Awards 2025 and also Health and Wellness Visionary in the Villa Maria Women of Vision Awards 2025. These nominations reflect my commitment to guiding parents through evidence-based birth education and hypnobirthing techniques, ensuring they feel prepared, supported, and confident as they welcome their baby into the world.

I have also been featured in Mum & Tots Magazine, where they showcased some of the top Services and Products for Pregnancy. 

I am registered with the Federation of Antenatal Educators (FEDANT). FEDANT provides a National Register of Antenatal Educators who are all qualified and insured. Every Antenatal Educator on the National Register has met National Safety Criteria and provided evidence of their qualification/s and insurance. The companies whom I trained with as a hypnobirthing Instructor, are accredited by the RCM (Royal College of Midwives), FEDANT (The Federation or Antenatal Educators) and the International Institute for Complementary Therapists.
